15 Months Old
Zoe turned 15 months old last week. Here are some of the highlights of what she's up to now:
- She walks (and runs) everywhere.
- She says new words every week. The latest additions to the "Zo-cabulary" are: down, up, all done, more, hat, blankie & outside.
- She is consistently sleeping through the night (hallelujiah!!)
- It's been 2 weeks since we've had a 3AM tinkle pants incident (All hail the Huggies Overnights!)
- She likes to carry a purse, wear bracelets and try on everyone's shoes.
- I lost count of how many teeth she has now. It's definitely a mouthful.
Visit with Grandma
My mom came for a visit last week. (Now, when I say "visit" what I really mean is that she came for a 48 hour Zoe fix. My presence was merely incidental :-)
I'm in awe of the transformation that takes place when a parent becomes a grandparent. All of those rules and boundaries from your childhood are suddenly tossed out the window. You don't want to eat your veggies? No problem. Here, have some ice cream instead. Bedtime, shmedtime.
Giggles
Every now and then Zoe get a serious case of the giggles. It usually starts when I say a random word that she finds particularly funny...
