The past few months, Zoe has shown a lot of interest in using the potty. She sits on the potty many times each week, but without producing any...umm...output. We planned to hold off on the formal training until she was a little closer to 2 years old. So, this morning when she asked to use the potty, I figured we do the usual routine....sit, read a book, sing a song, flush an empty potty and wash hands. Today, however, I am proud to report that Zoe did her first poop on the potty!
As she flushed....she waved at the toilet and said bye-bye poop!

Okay, so I foolowed you little one in China, and maybe about two months afterwards. I thought about her this morning and decided to look up your blog on the China Adoption website.
I hardly recognize this toddler from the baby you held in your arms back then. I cannot believe how much she's grown! What a precious sweetheart! And way to go with the poop. I just got a poop out of my girl last week, (who is just over two), but that was the first and last of it!
