Travel Approval
We just got word from our agency that our Travel Approval (TA) arrived! The TA is a formal approval that allows us to travel to China to adopt. Whoohoo!

Visas
Now, if we could just get our visas...
Even though we submitted our visa application long before April15th, we were still asked to provide additional documentation to the Chinese Consulate. This is the last major administrative hurdle we have to clear before we travel to China. Because I'm the resident worrier here, I'm a bit terrified that those visas aren't going to arrive in time...

Dirt
In other news, we're having some major work done in our back yard this month (because I need another project now, right?) So far we've taken down about 20 trees and today the heavy equiptment has arrived to move some enormous rocks and spread a bunch of dirt. (Can I just say how much I hate paying for dirt?) But it's all in the name of a swingset and canine containment (fence). And if we're really lucky, we're hoping to return from China to a beautiful lawn too...stay tuned.
