Ever see a diaper explode? I dismissed the claims as urban legend...until now. I went to change Zoe's diaper after she woke up the other day and when I unzipped her PJs it looked like her skin was coated in rock salt. It was actually the gel from inside the diaper. Apparently when a diaper reaches it's maximum absorption, the gel inside can bust through the lining. Who knew?
We've actually had a lot of potty issues lately. Miss Zoe tinkled through her diaper last night at 3:00 am, soaking her PJs & bedding. Good times. We've been using the Pampers (with uber absorbency) but they're not getting the job done at night. Anyone have another recommendation?
The Wheely Bug
Since we've been trapped in the house (for what seems like forever), we've been trying to come up with some creative ways to entertain ourselves and the little empress. Here's what happens when you give Danger Girl a dinosaur hat and a set of wheels:

Hi Kristin,
I love the dinosaur hat! Abby loves to have hats on her head too.
Miss Zoe looks like she has a great playroom and some real nice toys! Love the ladybug.
Emma is very cute too just sitting with "dad".
Try Huggies Overnights diapers.
Abby was constantly waking up wet.
Not a wet bed since I started using those.

When Alex was little they had special pads that you could put in the diaper at night. They looked kind of like maxi-pads without the adhesive strip. Don't know if they still make them but they were awesome.
Hi Kristin, Mark & Zoe,
Missed seeing you at CNY! Hope Zoe feels better soon. I know what you mean by the never ending runny nose - Brighton's had that too (a few times) since she's been at daycare full time.
We too had the same 'overload' diaper issues with Brighton. What fixed it for us was going up to the next diaper size even though, according to the Pampers box, she was wearing the correct size for her weight. Haven't had the problem ever since.
LOVE the wheely bug - too cute! Do you mind if I ask where you got it - I think B would love riding around on something like that!
Take care, Kristi
