So, I'm officially employed again. I start in a couple of weeks. The news was bittersweet for me. On one hand, incoming cash flow is a very good thing, but on the other, I will miss spending my days with Zoe.
Happily, her half day at school went very well and she's been talking about it ever since. She told us all about the "keedz at shcool" (kids at school) and how she's a big girl beacuse she carries her lunch in her backpack. Here's a picture of my big girl all ready for school:

Good luck with the new job. I don't envy you on the daycare thing. Thank goodness I never had to deal with that when my kids were that small. I just started back to work a couple of weeks ago myself, and as big as my kids are now, it's still hard to be at work and know that I'm not home to take care of everything for them. Can't even imagine doing it with a little one like Zoe.
