A Few Firsts...

It's been a week of "firsts" for Miss Z.

On Thursday, Zoe learned to drink (willingly) from a sippy cup. This may not sound like a big deal, but when you've offered it to her several times a day, every day, for 6 weeks and she rejects every day for six weeks, it's pretty exciting when it finally clicks.

Later the same day, her cousins were blowing bubbles for her and she was so excited that she clapped her hands. Once again, doesn't sound like a reason to throw a parade, but I've been showing her how to clap every day for weeks...and the closest she got up to now was clapping one of her hands on one of mine. Bravo!

We also took Zoe to the beach for the first time. Pictures of that adventure to follow. For now, here are a few random shots from our weekend on the Cape...
