Sickness & Citizenship

We survived the first cold...sort of. Both Zoe and I were sick for a week. Despite the fever, runny nose and coughing, Zoe is still smiley and giggly as always. We're still dealing with some coughing and the never-ending mucus. It's amazing how much stuff can come out of that itty bitty nose.

Sick days require a little extra creativity on mommy's part. Since we're stuck at home all day I had to come up with some new ways to amuse ourselves. You'd be surprised how entertaining some spoons in a tupperware container can be...

Spoons in the bowl...spoons out of the bowl...spoons in the bowl....

Zoe is getting closer and closer to crawling. She supports herself very well while on her tummy and has sat back in the "frog" position a couple of times. One of these days I'm going to turn around for a second and she's just going to take off...

In other news, Zoe received her official U.S. Citizenship papers in the mail. Now we just have to go through the re-adoption process and we'll finally be done with paperwork for a while!

It's amazing to watch her grow, learn and change every week. She is such a joy.
