One year ago today we received a phone call from our adoption agency that would change our lives forever. I still get chills when I think about that day. We had been waiting nearly 3 years. The phone rang on that Friday morning and I saw the agency's name on the caller ID. My heart jumped into my throat and I thought..."Oh my god, this it it." Then voice on the other end of the line said the words I had been longing to hear: "We have a little girl for you."
What an extraordinary gift she turned out to be :-)
