Easter

We had a wonderful first Easter with Zoe. We spent the weekend with family on the Cape. On Saturday we went to the Heritage Museum and Gardens- a very cool place to visit. Zoe ran around the impeccably manicured grounds with reckless abandon. Then she rode the beautifully restored carousel over and over until the cogs and springs burst (just kidding).

On Easter morning, Zoe's cousins helped her find her basket and she was thrilled with what the bunny brought her. In the afternoon, it was on to the egg hunt in the backyard. (Zoe I practiced finding and gathering eggs in her basket at home before the big day.) She totally got the concept and after finding all her eggs, she put down her basket and did the sign language symbol for "more." Well... even though she had found all of her eggs, I'll be damned if my girl will be disappointed. So I distracted her, grabbed some eggs out of basket, and had daddy re-hide them :-)

Zoe loved her fancy dress...and loved pulling it up over her head. My little lady...
