Todddlerisms

I don't know what has happened in the past couple of months, but someone took my baby girl and left behind a stubborn, bossy, independent toddler. She has an opinion about everything these days and isn't afraid to share it. The power struggle even extends to her wardrobe now. Sometimes she wants to leave the house wearing bunny ears or refuses to let me put a barette in her hair. On this particular day, it was all about a tutu. Actually 2 tutus. Apparently, some days just one tutu won't suffice.

What's in a Name...
Zoe has 3 sets of grandparents, so we knew it was going to be hard for her to differentiate which one we were talking about without coming up with a unique name for each. The good news is that Zoe has started to come up with her own names for a few of them and they're really cute. Mark's mom is "Bee-Bee," my mom is "Ya-Ya" and she calls my dad "Pop-Pop." I'm sure the other names are soon to follow.

Zoe & Emma
Relations have improved significantly on the canine front. Zoe has been very affectionate and the dog has become incredibly tolerant of the drive-by hugs and kisses. Every afternoon Zoe practices naming body parts on the dog....which requires the dog to lay down and roll over when we get to the all important belly button. I'm very proud of Emma:
