Anniversary Picnic

This past weekend we got together with the other families that traveled to China with us to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of our adoptions. We had a great BBQ and it was wonderful to see how much the girls have all grown in the past year.

Each time we get together with the adoption group we try to recreate the (in)famous Red Couch photo that we took of the girls in China. As you may recall, that ended in a chaotic medley of hair pulling, capsizing babies and lots of tears. Let's just say that not much has changed. Now that they're all mobile, trying to get them to stay in one spot for a group photo is like herding cats.

So, here we tried to get all the kids to sit at one time...

Then Zoe, deciding that all the parents are total amateurs, goes all diva on us and walks out of the shot entirely...



Then the wheels completely come off the bus. The hair pulling and chaos really gets under way...
