Zoe's school is closed all next week, so we decided it would be a good time to revisit potty training. My grand plan is to send her back to school a week from Monday without diapers. Ambitious? I think not.
Today is day 1. We spent the whole day in big girl underwear. We set the kitchen timer to go off every 20 minutes and when it beeped..."It's POTTY TIME!!" We sat on the potty about 25 times today. She was very exited and enthusiastic about the process. Unfortunately, day one ended without a successful potty run. She had 3 "accidents." But she told us immediately as each one happened.
So at the end of day one, the tally is: Zoe 3- Parents 0.
Here's my girl showing off her big girl undies:

We highly recommend Potty Training in One Day (or something to that effect). You can find a paperback on Amazon for under $10. I wouldn't do it in one day, but a weekend is do-able. We had EJ trained at 2 years, 5 months, and Sophie was about that too. Sounds like what you're doing is like that book. Feed her lots of salty foods and she'll drink lots of fluids. then have her "practice" every 10 minutes or so.
