Pediatrician

Zoe had her first appointment with the pediatrician yesterday. She is just over 16 pounds and is right on track developmentally. Tomorrow is immunization and blood test day. I am dreading this appointment. I think the doctor may have to sedate me because I can't stand the thought of seeing her in pain...

Overall, Zoe is adjusting really well to her new life. We're still working out the kinks in a daily routine, but she's eating well, taking naps and cracking me up all day long.

She and the dog are still very curious about each other. Emma is VERY jealous of the attention Zoe receives and the dog tries to work her way into my lap every time I am feeding the baby. (Did I mention the dog weighs 60 pounds??)

Her 'little old man' hair is growing like crazy now. And of course, the longer it gets, the crazier the 'Zo-hawk' becomes.

This is the shadow of 'Zo-hawk'...

And in other big news...I finally got a bow in her hair. (Carrie understands how big a deal this is!)

What an adorable little girl you have! And the bow ~ too cute. Love your matching pink, too.

Zoe's hair is a reminder of my second son's hair -- oh my goodness -- whatever do we do with that hair? I spent YEARS trying to keep it slicked down. I always thought his hair looked like a gone to seed dandelion. (He was not amused, especially as he got older. Nowadays, he says "any hair is good hair." :-)

I've been following your journey with Zoe and love her sweet face. She is amazing and she has amazing parents. God bless you.

We can't wait to meet Zoe sometime soon!

YEAH A BOW (nice and small, but a bow none the less)!!! She is lookin' good!!!

We did shots yesterday and she has had some trouble today with the crankies. The only advice I can give is alternate tylenol and motrin.
