Zoe met with 3 early intervention specialists this week to evaluate her motor skills and overall development. She scored at or above her age level in every area except one: self-feeding. At 9 months old, she should be at least be trying to put food in mouth, but she is still struggling. (The good news is that she has a great appetite and eats well as long as someone else is doing the work.)
For anyone who knows our family...you'll appreciate the irony that Zoe struggles with feeding, of all things! Eating is really more of a sport in our family :-)
