High Chair Wars

You know it can't be a good thing when you come home from the store to find that the high chair is "missing"...

We've been having a major issue with the dog recently involving Zoe's high chair. A couple of weeks ago, I came home from the store to find the high chair pushed completely across the room and part of the vinyl cover on the foot rest had been chewed up.

Yesterday, I came home to find that the high chair was missing. It wasn't in the kitchen...or in the dining room where we usually keep it. Instead I found it about 25 feet away in the family room. Upside down.

The culprit?? I'll give you one guess.

Emma has been taking the high chair for joy rides when no one is home. She's looking for leftover snacks from Zoe's last meal- even if the chair is spotless and crumb free. She is typically a very good dog, but the jealousy that has developed since the baby's arrival has brought out some very bad behavior. I think she's been yelled at more in the past 3 months than in the 5 years we've had her!

We've tried to give her one-on-one time with us and include her in activities we do with the baby, but the transition has been difficult. I'm hoping that an increase in her daily excercise will help her chill out a bit.
