Panicked About Passports

Last week I was concerned. Earlier this week I was panicked. Now I am nearly to the point of hysteria over our passports and visas. We are leaving for China in 6 days and our passports have still not arrived.

I call Fedex every day to ask if a package is on the way. This morning they told me that they attempted delivery yesterday. WHAT?? I was home all day yesterday, and no one tried to deliver anything. So now my mind has spiraled off into the abyss of worst-case scenarios. Did they try to deliver it to the wrong house? Did they lose it?

I am camped out at home again today...pacing the floor...and running to the window every time a truck comes up the street. To make matters worse, a very pushy woman just came to my door trying to sell me religion. Big mistake.

So, the Fedex truck came and went (without stopping here) so I called Fedex again to find out if they could locate my package. And much to my horror, it turns out that is was mislabeled and they attempted to deliver it to the wrong address in the wrong town. So where is it now? No one knows.

FINALLY!!!
Our passports and visas arrived this afternoon. I just had to hug the Fedex guy. Now the only thing standing between us and China is a 15 hour flight...
