We had our travel meeting last night and reviewed the details of the trip. We get Zoe on May 26th!!! I can't believe we leave in a week. I've had nearly 3 years to prepare for this trip, so why is it that I still have SO MUCH to do in the next 7 days??
To further complicate things, the woofer is sick and has to go the vet tomorrow. We suspect a UTI so I have to bring a urine sample. Now a poop sample is one thing, but have you ever tried getting a urine sample from a dog that squats to tinkle? It's not easy. And the worst part is the indignant look she gives me when I try to stick that plastic baggie under her hind quarters mid-stream. I suppose this kind of stuff just further prepares me for motherhood...

for the doggie, try putting a diaper under her. I did this for a urine sample when I brought DD#1 home. I just brought the diaper to the hospital(I almost said vet!!!!OOPS!)

Hey Kristin - I just put a comment on Steve/Jen's blog, but you might not need the luggage scale...the hotels we stayed in all had bathroom scales, just remember 20 kg is 44 pounds!
